Why did you join Digital Gurus Health?

From the initial interview there was an apparent fantastic work culture and true flexibility which you can’t seem to get with other recruitment agencies, and a passion for the marketplace which matched my previous skills and experience; a market that is always busy and pretty much recession proof. I was able to see longevity in the role and ambitious growth plans for the company that could facilitate my own professional development.

What about your market makes you a passionate recruiter?

Building relationships with people, working collaboratively to secure a Win-Win-Win outcome for all parties involved in the process.

What's the proudest moment of your life?

Having my two children was definitely a mixture of being the scariest and proudest moment in my life without a doubt, also the most hard work but the most rewarding!

A genuine desire to make their life easier when it comes to recruitment, and a relationship-based approach that is founded on integrity.

What do you like to do when not recruiting superstars for the NHS?

I’m very sociable and enjoy meeting up with friends, mostly at the pub. I like going out for meals with my wife, travelling, and exercising by taking part in endurance sports and CrossFit. I also enjoy the odd game of tennis.

How do you ensure candidate satisfaction?

Communication, transparency, and keeping them well informed throughout the recruitment process.

Who’s your idol?

My grandad has always been my idol. A sports fanatic, former rugby player for Sale Sharks, lover of a pint, a person who was always surrounded by a lot of life-long friends, and who everybody knew as a true gent.

Tell us why healthcare professionals should work with you over other recruiters?

I have a full understanding of the challenges that healthcare professionals face when it comes to both their day-to-day working and their dealings with recruitment. Like with my clients, I have a relationship-based approach and an in-depth knowledge of their working landscape which allows me to work with them collaboratively to secure the best placement possible.
