We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager to join our team in Stoke, working with a major client contract.

Ideally you will have Lean or equivalent experience in warehousing and logistics, are currently a CI or Operational Excellence Manager and have the drive and passion to make a difference.

Continuous improvement sits at the heart of what we do as a business, and to drive this forward we are currently looking for a CI Manager to join us on a full-time, permanent basis.

Pay, benefits and more:

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £45,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Be responsible for all improvement tools and techniques, control all key operational processes and project manage key process changes as part of the business project portfolio
  • Provide operational and project support throughout the business, in addition to developing colleagues to solve their own problems through CI tools and techniques
  • Manage the improvement process through its complete life cycle from initial opportunity through to sign off and execution
  • Develop a CI culture for site working with first line management and the senior leadership team

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Strong previous experience leading continuous improvement and operational excellence activity in a complex warehousing/logistics environment.
  • Ability to effectively develop and build key stakeholder relationships across all client teams, and internally
  • A heavily analytical, process-driven and data-focused approach to your work
  • If you have Lean Sigma experience this would be a big tick for us
